Cereal Millers Association (CMA) and Suppliers collaborate to provide affordable aflatoxin test kits.
Aflatoxin is a major food safety concern. APTECA is an initiative developed by Texas A&M AgriLife Research to manage aflatoxin risk in Africa. The program targets cereal millers and grain handlers in order to improve aflatoxin management. The aflatoxin test kits must conform to accuracy and precision requirements established by USDA GIPSA.
To promote APTECA, the CMA requested for more affordable aflatoxin testing solutions. Therefore F&S, on behalf of Neogen, honored this request. As a result, we will provide APTECA user with readers at no cost and test kits at prices comparable to Europe and North America. Furthermore, we will be catering for cereal millers and grain handlers across East and Central Africa.
